SSC CHSL Nationality
Candidates must fit one of the following criteria in order to be eligible to take the SSC CHSL exam.
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
An Indian citizen who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. A Tibetan refugee who crossed into India before January 1, 1962.
SSC CHSL Age Limit
The SSC CHSL positions have an age range of 18 to 27. Age relaxations are however there, which are based on category. The categories and associated age relaxations are listed in the table below.
