SSC CHSL Educational Qualifications

Candidates who pass the SSC CHSL Exam and want to work in government should possess the following academic qualifications.
Categories Qualifications
LDC/JSA, PA/SA, DEO Candidates must have passed the 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
DEO Grade ‘A’ in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (AG) 1. 12th Standard pass in science stream.
2. Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent

SSC CHSL Nationality

Candidates must fit one of the following criteria in order to be eligible to take the SSC CHSL exam.

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or
  • A subject of Bhutan, or

An Indian citizen who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. A Tibetan refugee who crossed into India before January 1, 1962.
