The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to release the official notification for the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havaldar Examination 2025 on June 26, 2025. The online application process will commence on the same day and will remain open until July 25, 2025. Aspiring candidates can submit their applications through the official SSC website: ssc.gov.in
The candidates chosen for multitasking staff positions will receive a salary at Pay Level 1 under the 7th Pay Commission’s pay matrix, with a basic salary of Rs. 5,200–20,200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 1,800. With the SSC Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025, job opportunities will be available to candidates who have completed the 10th grade.

On June 26, 2025, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) published SSC MTS Notification 2025, announcing 11409 openings for SSC MTS Havaldar (CBIC and CBN) & Multi-Tasking Staff. SSC MTS 2025 Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must meet three major requirements in order to be qualified to sit for the SSC MTS 2025 Exam. Before submitting their applications for the SSC MTS Exam, applicants must be aware of the minimum eligibility requirements in terms of nationality, educational level, and age restriction.

SSC MTS Age Limit (as on 01/01/2025)
According to the User Departments’ recruitment policies, the following age restrictions apply to the positions:
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old and not older than 25. Candidates must have been born between January 1, 1998, and December 31, 2005.
- Candidates between the ages of 18 and 27, born between January 1, 2005, and February 1, 1996.
In addition to the aforementioned age requirement, candidates from reserved categories are granted age relaxation in accordance with government regulations.

SSC MTS Educational Qualification (as on 17/02/2025)
To be eligible to apply for the SSC MTS 2025 Exam, a candidate must pass the Matriculation (10th class) Exam or its equivalent from a recognised State Board, University, or Institute.
SSC MTS 2025 Selection Process
Three stages will be used to shortlist the qualified applicants for SSC Multi Tasking Staff. A candidate must achieve marks higher than the announced cut-off in each stage to qualify. The three necessary steps are as follows:
Stage 1– Paper-1 (Objective)
Stage 2 (only for the position of Havaldar): Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Stage 3– Paper-2 (Descriptive)
The examination of SSC MTS 2025 will be conducted in 2 different levels: Paper-1, PET/PST (only for havaldar). Paper-1 is an online exam that is objective multiple choice question type.
SSC MTS 2025 Paper-1 Exam Pattern
The updated SSC MTS Paper-I Exam Pattern was made available along with the SSC MTS Notification 2025. There will be a computer-based exam that is broken up into two sessions. To pass the course, you must attempt both Sessions I and II. For each incorrect response, one mark will be deducted in Session 2, but there won’t be any in Session 1.
